The Ten Commandments – Revised

The basic principle of most Bible-Centered religions is the Ten Commandments, which are complete crap. Here is a more species-oriented set of commandments.

1. Believe what you want, but do not attempt to impose your beliefs on another in any way.

2. Do not create or attempt to create any form of belief worship for the masses in a public place.

“For the Children” Gets Really Fucking Old

You’ve probably heard the phrase before, and undoubtedly agreed with it. Something in our cores tell us that we need to prepare our world for future generations.

“We should spend our time developing the future… ‘for the children’.”

“We must all work together to make the world safer… ‘for the children’.”

“We musn’t swear, fornicate, piss or shit, yell, speak our minds, or do anything else in public… ‘for the children’s sake.”

“We must all walk on fucking egg shells… ‘for the children’.”

Well guess fucking what!? I’m not a fucking parent, and I don’t plan to be!

Fuck the World Leaders

I am so tired of hearing about people bashing on others for ‘unethical’ or ‘immoral’ acts. It has gotten so old that I can’t even stand to listen anymore.

Recently, I read this article: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13578_3-9899151-38.html about how the FBI did a sting of alleged sex offenders.

People on that site were APPLAUDING the FBI for being such douchebags, and making the internet even more crappy. It’s people like them who make us untrusting of our friends online, and its people like them who destroy our society.

Hey, government, get the FUCK out of my life! Continue reading ‘Fuck the World Leaders’

Updates, and Such

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve written anything on this lovely blog of ours;  so I decided to pay it a little visit, and put a few things on it.

Recently, we switched from TMCProHost hosting back to HostGator. I had decided to take on some more serious projects, and needed a more reliable, less shitty host for that job. I have always enjoyed HostGator, but it is terribly expensive for my lack of income. Oh well.

iStP’s focus has been as ever-changing as the current. We started as nothing more than YouTube reviews, and moved onto random creativity, and now we’re in the void again. I’ve been developing a text-based game to pass the time, and gain some more programming experience along the way. Although this is simply a temporary solution, I urge everyone to check it out.

In my personal life, I have encountered a lot of crap recently. Although it doesn’t take a bunch of my time up, it is highly stressful, and I often find myself too depressed to really do much. Because of this, iStP has suffered severely. We were doing great there for a while, and now we’re back to square one.

New Host for iStP!

Add a comment

HostGator was, and always will be, the best hosting company I have ever been with. They were clean, capable, helpful, and, most of all, full of space! However, after becoming unemployed, and taking on the life of a soon-to-be college student, I could no longer afford the cheap $10 a month for hosting. I would still recommend it for anyone looking for a host, however!

From Curt’s help, I was able to find a good, cheap host that would more than suit iStP for the time being. It is cheaper than Host Gator (at 10$ a year), and is perfectly sized for everything we currently run. I like the sleek look of their cPanel, and the layout of their billing page as well. It is very clean, and easy to use! More than perfect for my current situation.

I hope, one day, down the road when it comes to running bigger services, I will switch back to Host Gator, but that is, if not a year, years away. For now, TMCProHost will do fine!

With the old one being a little, well, old. I have decided to revamp the blog entirely. Not only is it a new version of WordPress, but it is now in uniform with the rest of iSpikedthePunch! You can expect to see updates rolling in quite often, and hopefully a new update every day!

We appreciate all users of iStP, and welcome any feedback on the changes before you! Simply register here, or on the forums, or both if you would =), and let us know what you think.

All of the old blog posts will be made available in the forum momentarily.

Thanks for reading!
